There will be someone around to help guide you as to where to park, as well as signs. You can park in a small carpark that's right by the field, and if that gets full, people are welcome to park their vehicle on the field as long as it's away from the event itself (there's plenty of land)
Want to stay the night?
Please get in touch with enquiries@intothewoodscumbria.co.uk for camping options - you can bring a tent, campervan or stay in a luxury hut - prices vary depending on pitch-type, number of people and hut option - please note: we are not responsible for the overnight bookings - this has to be done separately with the admin who manage the site. There are showers and toilets also at this site.

Parking
There is a car park by the field which you will be guided to by someone, but if no is is around, please follow signs that will be put up to point where to go, or alternatively, give us a ring on 07826793126 - if the car park is full, you can park on the field. If you're planning to stay overnight, you can park on the grass of the main field but please park away from the event itself (you can always move your vehicle when the retreat is over).
What do I need?
Comfortable clothing for the yoga is important to allow free movement. Extra layers is also important to bring in case it's chilly outside (although we pray for sun!). If you need an inhaler, you must bring it to the retreat. If you take any medication during the day, please remember to bring it and inform us of any medical conditions when booking. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day (there will be access to drinking water). Although there is a vegetarian buffet, we ask that you bring your own drinks. There is drinking water on site however. If you do bring your own drinks, please only bring non-alcoholic drinks only. For the yoga and sound bath, I will supply the yoga mats and everything we need, however you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer. If you want to bring a cushion for the sound bath or extra blankets, please do. If we get high numbers, there may not be enough spare mats/cushions for everyone to use - if this is the case, I will send an email out to everyone for a heads up. Still bring a mat/blanket/cushion just in case, even if it just stays in the car.

There is shelter at this venue, but please being waterproofs and spare clothes/shoes if the forecast is going to be wet. There are showers and toilets at this location for you to use.
Bring SPF sun screen and sunglasses and/or hat in case it's a really hot day - don't forget a drinking bottle too.
There will be lunch provided at this event, as well as snacks throughout the day / cake / sweet treats. Bring your own non-alcoholic drinks
If you have any food allergies or specific dietary needs, please mention this in the booking system when buying your ticket.
Please respect the site - don't leave rubbish anywhere (there will be bins provided)
Privacy & Photos
There will be a professional photographer at this event, as well as someone filming. When you book your retreat ticket, you are agreeing that you're happy to be filmed/or taken a photo of during the day. This will be done as subtle as possible and won't be intrusive. The people taking the pictures/videos will respect that this is a wellness event and won't take that away from the moment. Most photos won't be showing close ups of your face, but will be from afar mostly, with the majority being the band, food, myself (instructor) and venue itself and some of the sessions of the yoga, dancing, and sound bath. This content will be shared on social media platforms and on the website.
Is this suitable for me?
If you have any questions at all, or if you are unsure whether or not the retreat is right for you, please get in touch before booking. We try to adapt and cater the retreat to suit most people, however if you have any disability, injury, recently recovered from surgery, or struggle physically with moving / walking, you must get in touch before booking so that we can assess if the retreat is suitable and safe for you as we may be able to come up with adaptations that allow you to participate still. If you struggle with loud noises, strong smells or flashing lights, please let us know beforehand so we can discuss if there are ways in which we can make adaptations to allow you to feel comfortable at this event. There will be a diffuser with essential oils, an aurora star light which projects light on the ceiling and the instruments used for sound healing can be overwhelming for those sensitive to sound.
Health & Safety
It is your responsibility when booking that you inform us of any allergies, medical conditions or physical disability (Physical disability is defined as a “limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina” that has a 'substantial' and 'long-term' negative effect on an individual's ability to do normal daily activities.) You take part at this event at your own risk as everything has been risk assessed and the yoga instructor is a qualified yoga instructor, but all forms of movement can have at least a small risk of injury depending on the persons body, health or past injuries. Instructions during activities will be given clearly, with adaptations and variations to suit different people, but only you can feel what is right for your body and where your own limits are. It is important you do not push beyond what feels right for you. Please be mindful about driving to the site and parking on the field - drive slowly in case people are walking/arriving and park away from the event itself on the field. Bring any medication with you that you usually take, including an inhaler or anything else that you need for a health condition of any sort. We are outside, so there is a risk of getting bitten by insects especially later in the day so bring antihistamine cream/tablets or if you get hay fever, bring your allergy tablets with you. Please also bring suitable clothing depending on the weather and sun screen in case it's really hot so you don't burn and sunglasses.
Refund policy
Tickets at this retreat are non-refundable. You can give your ticket to somebody else however, should you be unable to attend - please make sure they let us know of any medical conditions beforehand and by allowing them to book, they agree to the terms and conditions of this retreat. We will also need their full name and contact details.
