About the event
About the workshop
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make beautiful, handmade personalised Christmas cards for your friends and family? This festive and fun workshop is something everyone can enjoy! All materials will be provided and demonstrations will be made to show you how to make different types of cards - if you have any questions, feel free to ask and we will show! You can make as many cards as you like whilst you're here.
Where is the venue?
Beaumont Parish Hall can be found on google maps by clicking here - When you are in Beaumont Village, if the Church is on your right and a farm is on your left, you want to keep going up that road keeping the farm on your left. Take the first left just after that farm and continue straight down that road - it's about a 1 minute drive to the hall from here. Keep going down that country road and the hall will be on your left just passed some houses. There is a carpark (you can park on the gravel or the grass outside the front of the building). If you ever get lost finding the hall, just give us a ring as to where your location is and we can guide you. If you are very near, we can get someone to drive out to your location and you can follow them back to the hall. The best number to call is 07826793126
Where do I park?
The hall has it's own carpark - just pack outside the front of the building anywhere on the gravel - if it's full, you can park on the grass.
What do I need?
Clothes that you don't mind getting any glue or glitter on (just in case!) or bring an apron. There will be teas, coffees and biscuits to fuel your creativity!
Is this suitable for me?
This event is great for anyone who loves crafting, but also those who haven't tried making things before but want to explore - it's beginner friendly and suitable for all age groups. If you have a disability, there is a ramp to get up into the hall and a disabled toilet. This workshop is for everyone to enjoy and take part in.
Health & Safety
It is your responsibility when booking that you inform us of any allergies, medical conditions or physical disability (Physical disability is defined as a “limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina” that has a 'substantial' and 'long-term' negative effect on an individual's ability to do normal daily activities.) You take part in this event at your own risk - although it's a very low-risk activity, there will be glue guns which get hot, so you must take extra care when using them. There will also be scissors, so if you have children with you, they are soley your responsibility as their parent/guardian/carer and you must watch them when using certain tools/ materials. Children under the age 11 shouldn't use the glue guns without assistance from their parent/guardian who is with them.
Refund policy
Tickets at this event are non-refundable, but are transferable. You must inform us at least a day before the event if you cannot attend to qualify for your transferable ticket. You can use your ticket value towards another workshop of your choice as a voucher - the voucher you get as credit for your ticket will have no expiry date, so you can use it whenever you like on a workshop in the future. You can also give your ticket to somebody else - just make sure they let us know of any medical conditions beforehand and by allowing them to book, they agree to the terms and conditions of this event.
