About the retreat - Starts at 10am, finishes at 4pm - lunch, refreshments & art supplies all included

Join us on this magical day at Crosby that will completely calm your mind, relax your body through Yoga and ignite your creativity as we tap into our inner-child through art, which will be inspired by our meditation journey through an Angel Sound Bath. This event is suitable for everyone to take part in and will leave you feeling truly nurtured and switched off. We supply you with everything so you don't have to think! Just turn up, bring warm clothes (for the fire pit later in the day outside) and we will sort the rest.
The day begins with a creative yoga flow with hybrid asanas (combining two yoga poses into one) whilst we move in a way that boosts your confidence and helps you to feel "free" within yourself. The Yoga will be suitable for all levels with chairs if you need one. Unlike the other retreats and sound baths, the meditation will include sounds and changing colours of lights throughout to stimulate your mind even more for tapping into your Crown Chakra (higher self). Then we enter into a spectacular Sound Bath, focusing more on delicate sounds, higher frequencies and angelic surround-sound music combined for a journey that's out of this world.

The lunch will be a home-made winter lunch with a variety of drinks to help yourself to and scrumptious snacks! There is always gluten-free options available at these retreats but for any other dietary needs, please mention at the checkout so we can cater for you.
After lunch, we will have A LOT of fun painting wintery snow scenes on canvases in Acrylics as I show you some easy techniques to create a beautiful piece of art that you bring home with you. This will be suitable for all levels, even if you have never painted before. All materials and brushes will be supplied, just bring some sheets/cardboard/bin liners for your car to bring your work home with you in case it's still wet (although acrylic tends to dry fairly quickly).
There will be a fire pit outside that we can all sit around at the end of the retreat to have marshmallows, hot drinks and mulled wine with music!

There is a large car park next to the building. Please note: you park your car at your own risk. Please be sure to allow enough time before the retreat starts to park your car safely.

What do I need?
Comfortable clothing for the yoga is important to allow free movement. Extra layers is also important to bring in case it's chilly, although this venue has very good heating but we will be outside later in the day around the fire, so bring extra layers and your favourite blanket! If you need an inhaler, you must bring it to the retreat. If you take any medication during the day, please remember to bring it and inform us of any medical conditions when booking. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day (there will be drinking water and glasses at the hall but a bottle is less likely to spill fluid). For the art at the end of the day, you may want to bring an apron or old top to protect your clothes from paint. You will also need something to bring your artwork home in with you like a plastic bag, sheets or box to protect your car as the paint ma still be wet. All art supplies and materials are provided. You won't need to bring a yoga mat or blocks/belts with you as you will be able to borrow them at the retreat. If you want to use your own however, you are more than welcome to. Lunch is provided at the retreat, so you must inform us of any dietary needs or allergies at least 3 days beforehand at the latest to allow us time to make alterations to the menu.
Is this suitable for me?
If you have any questions at all, or if you are unsure whether or not the retreat is right for you, please get in touch before booking. We try to adapt and cater the retreat to suit most people, however if you have any disability, injury, recently recovered from surgery, or struggle physically with moving / walking, you must get in touch before booking so that we can assess if the retreat is suitable and safe for you as we may be able to come up with adaptations that allow you to participate still. If you struggle with loud noises, strong smells or flashing lights, please let us know beforehand so we can discuss if there are ways in which we can make adaptations to allow you to feel comfortable at this event. There will be a diffuser with essential oils, an aurora star light which projects light on the ceiling and the instruments used for sound healing can be overwhelming for those sensitive to sound.
Health & Safety
It is your responsibility when booking that you inform us of any allergies, medical conditions or physical disability (Physical disability is defined as a “limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina” that has a 'substantial' and 'long-term' negative effect on an individual's ability to do normal daily activities.) You take part at this event at your own risk as everything has been risk assessed and the yoga instructor is a qualified yoga instructor, but all forms of movement can have at least a small risk of injury depending on the persons body, health or past injuries. Instructions during activities will be given clearly, with adaptations and variations to suit different people, but only you can feel what is right for your body and where your own limits are. It is important you do not push beyond what feels right for you.
Refund policy
Tickets at this retreat are non-refundable. You can give your ticket to somebody else however, should you be unable to attend - please make sure they let us know of any medical conditions beforehand and by allowing them to book, they agree to the terms and conditions of this retreat. We will also need their full name and contact details.
