'RESTORE' Langdale, Cumbria

Explore the true beauty of the Lake District whilst doing yoga, mindfulness exercises, breath-work and therapy art in the village hall of Langdale.

The day consists of very gentle and traditional Hatha Yoga which is beginner friendly, as well as guided meditation and sound healing to unblock and clear your Chakras. This retreat is all about restoring your body so that you can heal both inside and out. There is the option to take a lovely walk around the area, as well as the choice to go into the river nearby, whether you dip your feet in or brave the swimsuit and go for a swim!

There is a tea and biscuit break at 11am which will be supplied, however you are required to bring your own pack lunch for our second break at 12.45pm. There is a Cafe right next door which serves hot or cold food and drinks that you can take away or sit in with. There is a toilet and kitchen at the Village Hall and you are welcome to use the kettle in there for hot drinks - I will be bringing a range of herbal teas, ordinary tea and coffee, milk (including oat milk) and sugar/ natural sweeteners. I will also bring vegan cookies and snacks (please let me know if you have any food allergies).

Towards the end of the day, we get creative by expressing ourselves and our visions from our meditation onto paper in an art therapy session. Materials and art supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own. You do not have to be experienced in art to benefit from this activity.

We finish the day feeling refreshed, restored, positive and full of gratitude and a new outlook on life
